Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympics, advocated the idea that the Olympics and the arts are deeply connected for achieving multicultural understanding in order to realize the spirit of the modern Olympics, building a peaceful world. This exhibition focuses on artworks created for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games gathered by the JOC and also features art posters and other works that will be displayed for the Paris 2024 Olympics next year, conveying the appeals of the Olympics from the perspective of art.
